Sara Barrett, MPAS, PA-C, CFNM
Sara is a physician’s assistant with a certification in functional and nutritional medicine. With over 20 years experience in a traditional medical practice, curiosity and a subsequent deep dive into researching alternative medicine led me to a more comprehensive and individualized healing approach for me and my patients.
You see, when I was 15 years old, I was diagnosed with MS. Good intentioned practitioners tried numerous medications to treat my symptoms and with some short-term success.
Unfortunately, there was never a focus on identifying the cause of my symptoms and disease. So, here is where my journey began! It wasn’t easy and it didn’t turn around overnight. However, through 10 years of research and my faith in Jesus, I no longer take pharmaceuticals, and I feel better now than I did in my 20s and 30s.God brought me through this learning and healing process in order to share this knowledge and compassion with my patients. God has given us everything we need for healing. We must open our mind and eyes to see it.
